Cryptocurrency exchange, Huobi Japan has announced that it will be listing two new cryptocurrencies, Stellar Lumens (XLM) and NEM (XEM) on its exchange.
Both cryptocurrencies will go live on Huobi Japan around 2PM Japan time, Thursday, September 10th 2020.
Huobi Japan is biggest Japanese crypto exchange and caters to only Japanese customers. Huobi Japan has its headquarters in Tokyo and was established in September 2016.
This exchange is very picky about the coins and tokens supported. Before XLM and XEM, only seven cryptocurrencies were supported that included Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Monacoin (MONA) and Huobi Token (HT).
Like other supported assets, users will be able to do spot and leverage trading. Only 2x leverage is supported though.
This is a huge news for Stellar Lumens as now people in Japan will be able to purchase XLM easily. It is good for accessibly of Stellar Lumens and will increase adoption in Japan.
Huobi Japan requires full KYC (know your customer) so you must provide them complete details of yourself before you can start trading on it.
