Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has launched donation matching program with Lumenthropy, which believes in promotion of welfare of others by donating Lumens to good causes.
In April, donations made to any of the non-profits supported by Lumenthropy will be matched by SDF. To kickstart this stellar campaign, no-pun intended, the SDF will be donating 100,000 XLM to each of the following non-profits.
This includes UNICEF France, Tor Project, Heifer International, Watsi, Freedom of the Press and Women Who Code. SDF commits 2.5 million Stellar Lumens (XLM) for these charities.
In a blog post, Stellar Development Foundation mentions that it will be using its XLM reserves to help these organizations to find the COVID-19 pandemic. All the donations made to Lumenthropy this month will be donated in equal parts to aforementioned non-profits.
